Polished is family-owned salon that was established in 1993. There have only been 2 owners in the past 30 years. The salon changed ownership in 2021. Heather Rullo, a long time employee of the Salon, and her husband John are the new owners of Polished. They are dedicated to providing the quality services you have come to expect from the Salon and expand your experiences in the future. They have great plans for the salon.
Heather started her career here at Polished (known as “Hands and Tans” at the time). She left to work in other salons for a few years, but found her way back in 2019. She enjoys the artistic side of the business and is always looking for new and exciting things to do on nails. Heather has the distinct honor of being a Young Nails Mentor and has taught many classes to other nail technicians. She has also been a Young Nails Mentor at many large Trade shows. Believe it or not, Heather is also a Licensed Insurance Agent with a full time job at IMA|ESS in West Kittanning. Needless to say, she does not have much spare time BUT when she does have a moment to herself she enjoys boating with her husband on the Allegheny River, biking, hiking and spending time at their camp along the river.
